Cowboy Churches reach out to those in the Western Heritage culture. They often meet in barns, saloons, or arenas. Baptisms can be done in horse troughs, and cowboy boots and hats are the norm. People who "just couldn't have imagined myself in church" are able to worship in an environment where they feel comfortable coming as they are.
The USA/Canada Region assists the starting and strengthening of cowboy churches by providing consultation and technical assistance to district leaders interested in starting cowboy churches.
